About MeAs an Animator
I'm a graduate of the University of Central Florida's Digital Media: Visual Language Program. For 2 years I was in an intense program studying both Traditional and Modern methods of visual storytelling, animation, and visual effects with 31 other talented students. I worked for 2 years along side 15 of my classmates on the short film Ember as a Lead Animator. As a Lead Animator I animated and cleaned up key scenes, and held dailies to keep track of the progress of our film's animation. I made sure our films animators had a consistent animation style and would help anyone who needed assistance. Outside of my Lead Animator duties I assisted the production in general ways such as research, compositing, and rendering. I have always had a passion for Animation, both in CGI and Traditional. A passion for watching it, studying it, and practicing it. I want to create animations that convey convincing emotions and actions of characters that the audiences can relate to and enjoy. I can't wait to go out there and do what I love. |
As a Graphic Designer
After college I explored a variety of different jobs, from clerical to culinary. Every job has taught me a new and useful life skill that I apply forward to my present day work ethic. One particular career direction I've been most involved in has certainly been Graphic Design. I've had the amazing luck of having many friends involved in that career track, and they have been instrumental in my constant developing knowledge of the field. I started freelance graphic design as something to keep to bring in extra money while searching for my life direction, but my growing fondness for it has turned what was once a general curiosity into a legitimate passion. I decided to pursue graphic design and illustration as a full career. Promotion Marketing of Florida was the first company that hired me as a full time in house graphic designer. I had an amazing time working on various different products for a variety of interesting clients. The company has since changed directions and no longer needed a graphic designer on staff, but my time there was a valuable experience and helped me create a lot of work I'm very proud of. My goal now is to continue following my passion for graphic design and illustration, wherever it takes me.
